Iron Ore In Costa Rica

In 1985, production began at Serra Norte, now the biggest iron ore mine in the world. A city of 180,000, Parauapebas, grew up nearby. Vale and its contractors employ 46,000 people in Par225. State capitalism and protection go hand in hand here.
